Terri Arp-Wilson

Terri Arp-Wilson

 M.S., LMHP, PLADC

Terri joined the Family Resources Team in September 2007, and is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and a Provisionally Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor.  She received her Master's Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Human Development and the Family, and Health Education.  She went on to complete post-graduate coursework in the Community Counseling program at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. 

Terri is trained in Multi-Systemic Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. She worked as a MST therapist serving youth and their families for several years, and continued her work with adolescents who were state wards, and their families, as a therapist in a juvenile chemical dependency treatment program for four years. Previously, Terri worked in state and private foster care programs for 15 years.  Terri enjoys working with adolescents and adults of all ages, as well as working with couples and families in a strength-based and family-centered approach. Terri has a special interest in the areas of substance abuse/addictions/co-dependency;  relapse prevention work; adolescent issues; stress reduction; depression; anxiety; and grief and loss.  Terri enjoys spending time with her family and friends, with whom she shares her love for nature, spirituality, reading, music and walking.
