Terri joined the Family Resources Team in September 2007, and is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and a Provisionally Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor. She received her Master's Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and completed addditional graduate coursework from the University of Nebraska-Kearney Community Counseling Program.
Terri has a variety of experiences, as she has worked as a therapist in a juvnile chemical dependency program for 4 years, and worked in the foster care programs while being employed by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services for 17 years. She has worked in multi-systemic therapy and private foster care programs as well, and enjoys working with adolescents and adults of all ages. Terri has a special interest in the areas of substance abuse/addiction/recovery and relapse prevention work; grief and loss issues; as well as depression and anxiety. Terri enjoys spending time with her family and friends and sharing her love for nature, walking, photography, spirituality, reading and music.
