Carlene Headrick

Carlene Headrick

M.ed., L.M.H.P., L.M.F.T.

Carlene Headrick is a Certified Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. Employed by Nebraska Health and Human Services for 21 years, Carlene was trained in the Family Systems model of therapy by a therapist from Philadelphia Child Guidance Center. As an “in house” therapist with Child Protective Services, Carlene worked with families and individuals of all ages, helping them with the reunification process to strengthen their family dynamics. In addition to Family Systems, she is trained in Brief Solution Focused Therapy and EMDR, and has a special interest in grief work. Carlene has been with Family Resources of Greater Nebraska since February 2005. Prior to her work with Nebraska Health and Human Services, she taught in the Elementary Grades for 14 years.
