Alcohol/Drug Counseling

With licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselors on staff, Family Resources provides a continuum of services for adolescents and adults. We provide evaluations, education, and outpatient treatment, in addition to family care, relapse prevention, after-care, and co-dependency treatment. We counsel addicts, children whose parents are struggling or are addicted to chemicals, adult children of alcoholics and addicts, and others who are affected by addiction.

In addition, we can help parents or family members learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of substance abuse and depression. Assistance with confronting and/or intervening with loved ones is also available.

When a potential problem is identified, we provide chemical dependency evaluations for adolescents involved in the Juvenile Diversion Program, adults involved with probation or parole, and for individuals who are concerned about their own or a family member's use of substances. We work closely with probation, parole, and treatment providers to ensure the individual is referred to the appropriate level of care to assist with his/her substance use issues.
