Substance Abuse
With licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselors on staff, Family Resources provides a continuum of services for adolescents and adults. We provide evaluations, education, and intervention groups. Outpatient treatment is offered though individual and group therapy. Family care, relapse prevention, after-care and co-dependency treatment are also offered.
It has been determined that one of three families currently report alcohol/drug abuse concerns. An estimated 28 million Americans have at least one alcoholic parent. Alcoholism and drug addiction runs in families and affects each individual in various ways. Family Resources of Greater Nebraska, P.C., offers substance abuse counseling for individual and families affected by substance use. A full range of services is available to meet each individual's needs. Those needs are met through a variety of options, which may include the following:
Chemical Dependency
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors provide comprehensive substance abuse evaluations that include the use of assessment tools, collateral information, and an intake interview with the client. A recommendation for the appropriate level of care is provided as well as referral information, if necessary.
Adult Treatment

Treatment focus is on changing behavior, exploring values and beliefs about chemical use, and learning effective coping skills. Treatment plans are developed to specifically meet the needs of each individual.
Adolescent Treatment
Most teenagers will have some experience with alcohol and other drugs. The majority will experiment and stop or continue to use casually without significant problems. However, there will be those who will use regularly, with varying degrees of problems. The adolescent treatment program at Family Resources offers a plan for adolescents and their families. We offer individual, group and family therapy.

This is a 5-week program that includes one-on-one counseling, as well as a 2-hour group each week.
Codependency

This program meets weekly for 8 weeks and provides exploration through education, group discussion and individual sharing.
Adult Children Of
A half day workshop for adult children or family members of an individual with an addiction. The goal is to provide insight and education to participants and encourage the desire to address issues and needs through recovery.
